Referral Information

Refer a Young Person.

Urban Ronin CIC works across the full arc of the exclusion journey. Whether a young person is at the edge, already out, or further down the line, if the system has run out of road, we want to hear from you.

Who We Work With

We Work Across
The Full Arc.

01
Early Intervention

Still In School

Escalating. At the edge. Fixed-term exclusions beginning. The young person is still reachable but the school is running out of options. This is the highest-value intervention window and where the most meaningful change is possible.

02
Already Excluded

Out of Mainstream

Excluded, or effectively absent on a reduced timetable that delivers education in the same way that already stopped working for them. The model has not changed. Only the dose has reduced. Urban Ronin offers something different.

03
Longer Term

Further Down The Line

The gap has grown. Trust in adults and institutions has eroded. NEET trajectory is underway. Reintegration is a slower process for these young people but it is not out of reach. We start where they are.

Making a Referral

What to
Include.

There is no formal referral form for the pilot. Email us directly. To help us respond quickly, include the following where you can.

Year group and current school status — in school, reduced timetable, excluded, or NEET
Brief description of presenting need — what has the school tried, what has not worked
Any known SEMH, neurodevelopmental, or safeguarding factors — relevant to planning
Your name, role, and contact details — so we can follow up directly
Parental or carer awareness — whether the family has been informed or is part of the conversation
Urgency or timing — any deadlines, panel dates, or exclusion timelines we should know about

Safeguarding. Urban Ronin CIC operates to KCSIE 2025 and Working Together 2026 standards. All staff hold enhanced DBS checks with Children's Barred List. The Designated Safeguarding Lead is an HCPC-registered Senior Forensic Psychologist. Information shared in referrals will be handled confidentially and in line with our GDPR and Data Protection Policy.
